Is there a website I can find information on XVAL an IVR scripting language?

Someone replied to a previous question of mine about IVR scripting languages. This person recommended XVAL. But I can't find it when I do a web search. Does anyone know of a website where I can find more info on XVAL? Thanks in advance.|||I haven't actually heard of XVAL and most IVR is done these days similar to how the web serves HTML documents. Modern IVR usually uses something like "VoiceXML" which structures messages into an XML format which is then read by a "Voice browser"

It is held to the W3C XML standard for communication between people and machines.

Another similar XML style for this is through the use of "Speech Application Language Tags" (aka SALT) and it is the direct competitor to VoiceXML.

So you might want to give those a try through searching. I have posted the relevant wikipedia articles which will give you some leads.

Hope this proves useful to you.
