My 18th is in 3 weeks, ivr planned to have my birthday at Brooklyn, but now im thinking maybe i would like to go somewhere different for a change!
Just wondering who has been to the Ivy and if they enjoyed it, how much drinks are and things like that.
Also, ive heard it is hard to get into, well for guys anyway?
Ta|||I went their several weeks back. It's pricey - maybe a little too much to get a gathering for an 18th (but clearly that depends on your budget.) it's nice but hardly as special as some might make it out to be - largely it has that 'exclusive' thing going for it which creates demand which makes it seem even more exclusive.
I don't recall the cost of drinks - just the overall bill for two of us.
But you wouldn't be disappointed with the service, ambience, etc if you went. It *is* a nice place.|||Ivy is hard to get into, and considering it's link to Establishment, it can also be hard for girls too :( Its also more elite and for an older crowd, not really great for an 18th birthday.. Brooklyn would be great cos they dont actually turn anyone away lol but then theres plenty of great clubs along oxford street too?
