How to change from real-player read-only file to?

A Real-Player ivr file was created, with permission, to eventually share as an edited mp3 file. However, the ivr file was wrongly saved as a Read Only file. Now it is wanted to correct this ivr Read Only saving error, if possible, to allow the editing to occur. Any recommendations? Thank you!|||Right click the file. Properties. Uncheck Read only.
