How to keep safe during fist exchanges?

ivr heard the whole keep your gaurdup chin in ect... but when u commit to exchange your gaurd minimizes.if your chins tucked in they can still clip ur tempo and thats sometimes just as fragile as ur chin...how in the world do ppl exchange nowadays? like chuck and anderson? i know theres no way to keep 100 percent safe but is there any tips ect?|||the thing the lyoto and anderson do well is that they exchange when the other guy is least likely to protect themselves or counter

they wait for the right time

When you "commit to exchange" you shouldn't be too much ore open than you were before you started striking.|||It isn't just keeping your chin in that protects you. Here's how it works,

there is a nerve right behind your chin, I forget what it's called, but when you take one to the chin, what can happen is that your jaw will shift and pinch this nerve causing you to pass out (getting KOed). When you have your gaurd up, and see a punch coming you clench up, or get prepare for the impact. When you do this you'll clench your teeth as well causin no shift in your jaw. Now when you throw a punch, you don't tend to clench like this becase you naturally don't expect to get countered, therefore, even if your chin is in, and you get caught on the chin your jaw will shift pinching this nerve, which may not drop you, but you will definatly feel the effects!|||You need to find a good coach or instructor.
