Is an Internet Video Recording (ivr) file the same as a Real Audio file?

When I download a sound clip using the latest version of Real Audio, it downloads as an Internet Video Recording (ivr) file. Since I got it from Real Audio and it has the Real Audio symbol when I see the file in a folder, does that mean that it's the same as a Real Audio file?|||Looks like it is.
